Golden Ferrari Enzo

Golden Ferrari Enzo

When it comes about making your car unique we have seen all kinds of strange ideas. We have seen pink cars, funny tuned car and so on. And while for most of us a Ferrari Enzo is for sure an unique car that is just perfect as it is, this person (the one that own the supercar) decided he needed more. A Golden Enzo.
For us is just a very, very bad idea. You still prefer a standard, red Enzo. We just hope he will not see his supercar stolen, as it happened with the Golden Porsche in Russia.

2010 Suzuki Hayabusa GSX1300R

Suzuki Hayabusa GSX1300R

The amazingly powerful and long haul comfortable Suzuki Hayabusa is now presented as a 2010 model and gets stylish new color schemes to mark the pass. The black one with orange graphics is the most easily distinguishable, but riders end up in the Hayabusa’s seat because of the whole other bunch of advantages that come with a bike closely priced to the GSX-R1000. Now addressing to those who can’t decide between the Gixxer and the Hayabusa-derived B-King, the future Hayabusa rider is just an easy target.

Predator Hayabusa – give it gas or it will eat you alive!

Predator Hayabusa – give it gas or it will eat you alive!

Predator, the famous alien with a taste for people, has inspired New Jersey custom builder Pitstop Motorsport to create a corresponsive two-wheeled version, which will surely frighten anyone seeing it in the rear view mirror.
Essentially a 2007 Suzuki Hayabusa, the bike is technically unchanged while the bodywork modifications are more than obvious and always gather a crowd around the Predator Hayabusa. Now this is something that owner Roderick “Slick Rick” McCullough found out from the very first ride as it got two tickets because onlookers held up traffic.
We can’t imagine how scary this visually modified Suzuki Hayabusa looks at over 190 mph, but can’t really confess we’re that eager to find out, so it is better the video attached after the jump shows the scariest Predator bike standing still. See it after the break.

Kimmera Motorcycle Concept Looks Bad

Kimmera Motorcycle Concept Looks Bad

This is Lauro Franco’s Kimmera Concept Motorcycle. It draws our attention because it takes the best from the world of choppers and that of sportsbikes, meaning that it offers a fairly relaxed riding position and power is supplied by a large displacement four-cylinder motor. It kind of resembles the HD V-Rod, but it is supposed to be much more powerful and aggressive, while also showing European influences such as the Ducati-like frame.
Obviously, this concept addresses to those not willing to turn to electric bikes in the future and who prefer the rush of a good old (or new) Japanese engine while being comfortably accommodated. In fact, looking at the Kimmera, we can’t understand why it is only in animation stage as there are surely plenty of bikers willing to give it a chance.

The exterior is painted in a combination of Gold and Blue, a new front skirt, a modified radiator grill insert and 22" wheels. The interior combines delicate leather with diamond-quilted ornaments.

Zero Motorcycles enters 2010 TTXGP Electric Motorcycle Championships

Zero Motorcycles enters 2010 TTXGP Electric Motorcycle Championships

Zero Motorcycles has announced their entry into the 2010 TTXGP series, which turns them into competitors for Team Agni and CRP Racing. The company’s race bike will be built around a Mavizen TTX02 chassis, the same as on KTM’s RC8 superbike, while the battery packs and electric motors will be those of the Zero’s Z-Force.
Sounds like the competition is getting stiffer and stiffer in the TTXGP’s electric motorcycle racing series, eGrandPrix and we can’t wait for next year’s May, when the first race is scheduled at Infineon in California.
Press release is attached after the jump.

Fiat 500 Abarth and Abarth esseesse by Hamann

Fiat 500 Abarth and Abarth esseesse by Hamann

Abarth has already tuned up the Fiat 500, but car tuner Hamann isn’t exactly one to settle for something when they know that they could do something more more. So at the Geneva Motor Show, they will unveil a new tuning package for both the 500 Abarth and Abarth esseesse.
Hamann is offering three different engine-stage upgrades for the Abarth 500. In stage one, HS I, the output is raised to 160 hp (up from 135 hp). In stage two, HS, the output bumps up to 180 hp and 295 Nm torque; and finally, stage three, HS III, takes the output even further and brings it up to an impressive 210 hp and 310 NM.
And if this is not enough for you, Hamann’s HS Race program also adds forged pistons, enhanced connection rods, a modified turbo charger with charge air cooler, a race clutch with weight-optimized one-mass flywheel and a new control electronic. The result is an impressive 240 hp and 330NM.
And finally, there is the modification kit "HS CINQUECENTO 575". Thanks to a re-engineered cylinder head with an adjusted camshaft, two charge air coolers, as well as a self-locking differential, you can get an impressive 275 hp while the torque is catapulted to 380 Nm.

All in one: Unicycle and Two-wheeler!

All in one: Unicycle and Two-wheeler!

Remember The Uno prototype, the unicycle that looked like a great way to face-plant? Well, it is now turning into more than a fact and inventor Ben Gulak plans to produce the thing. Meanwhile, he made sure to turn The Uno into a unicycle that transforms into a two-wheeler as it reaches the speed of 20mph and this should mean a safer ride.
The inventor itself says: “The original Uno was quite scary to speed up on. This is a much more user-friendly experience.” To us, it looks like they made sure not even clowns will ride the thing, but we do have to appreciate the ingenuity. Hit the jump to see the new Uno prototype and expect preproduction models early next year.

Metalback café racer concept runs on biodiesel

Metalback café racer concept runs on biodiesel

Café racing motorcycles may be acknowledged as the first ever sports bikes and even new ones are built in strict accordance with the original style, which is cool, but when it comes to the future something has to change. This concept bike right here is a good way to do so. Called the Metalback, it was designed by Jordan Meadows, who has thought at combining the original look of café racers with that of vintage WW2 fighter planes in order to achieve this.
The thing is supposed to be powered by a V4 diesel engine burning biodiesel, meaning that fuel efficiency – not just power and torque – was taken into consideration, not to mention anything about the recycled aluminum frame and bodywork.

Stretch-limo Vespa – the spoil has just began

Stretch-limo Vespa – the spoil has just began

When we first heard about the stretch-limo Vespa, which is a very original idea of Vespa South Africa Managing Director Andy Reid, we thought at a luxurious piece of Italy’s greatest ever scooter, but looking at it now, we’re beginning to think this is a rather interesting mean of transportation for those interested in saving gas money. Sure, it can be both (personally, I wouldn’t take the kids to school on it), but the fact is that it was built for promotional activities only, so a picture on it with a glass of champagne in your hand should do the trick just fine. For more, build one yourself and ride home from high school with a trio of chicks at the back. And don’t forget the white gloves!

2020 Harley-Davidson hubless concept goes beyond untypical

2020 Harley-Davidson hubless concept goes beyond untypical

It may seem like we’ve uploaded the wrong pictures for this post, but we’ve checked it twice and this is what CGI designer Miguel Cotto imagines when thinking at the “original Harley look” 10 years from now. This sportsbike featuring hubless wheels, apparently an air-cooled engine and plenty other nonsense to think at when saying Harley-Davidson, qualifies as 2010’s most implausible concept bike.
Simply take a look at what the Milwaukee-based company was producing 10 years ago and you won’t be that far off if thinking they’ll stick to that in the future as well.

Weirdest trade ever: Bugatti Veyron for a Corvette ZR1

Weirdest trade ever: Bugatti Veyron for a Corvette ZR1

Imagine you’re an auto dealer, bored like hell in a day with no customers. And suddenly there’s this guy entering your dealership and telling you this: "I will give you my Bugatti Veyron if you give me in exchange a Corvette ZR1!" What will you do?
And this is no fairy tail, it happened for real to All American Chevrolet of Midland, Texas. They gave a $107,000 ZR1 for a 2008 Bugatti Veyron with just 20,307 miles. You have to known that a used Veyron can go from $1.4 to $3.6 million depending on condition.
There are no details on this trade, but we are very curious about what really happened in there. So, if you have details on this let us know!

Bull Bike or Lambo project?

Bull Bike or Lambo project?

A new year has come and this means bikers can start having new wishes and this Bull Bike right here may very well be among those wishes. It is the latest project of the same team that last year unveiled the Jaguar bike, so we put our hopes into their ambition when we say that this will most likely be one of the coolest bike projects of the year. Why wouldn’t when it is a motorcycle that reminds us of Lamborghini exotic cars and yet it is painted like the competition

2011 Kawasaki ZX-10R rendering

2011 Kawasaki ZX-10R rendering

It is no secret to anyone that Kawasaki’s supersport look didn’t evolve quite as it should have during the past few years and people have even started calling the ZX-6R and the ZX-10R “ugly”. While we don’t entirely agree with that and we should give Kawi credit for repairing its faults starting with the 2010 models, it is also nice to check out how MotoRevue’s Jérôme Vannesson imagines the 2011 Kawasaki ZX-10R will look like.
This photoshop rendering unveils precisely what the motorcycle press is expecting from the future generation liter bike: angular lines that would reflect a blend of features found on visually attractive motorcycles such as the Hornet, from which it gets the tail and RC8 or YZF-M1 fairing with ZX-14 venting gills. Also, the paintjob is very attractive and still in accordance with the Team Green standards.

2011 Nissan Navara

Nissan Navara

The Nissan Pathfinder won’t be the only one representing Nissan in the Geneva Motor Show.
Joining the Pathfinder as the second model to be revealed by Nissan at the Geneva Motor Show will be a facelift version for the Navara pick-up.
Similar to the Pathfinder, the Navara will receive exterior changes, improved engines and an enhanced interior quality. Sales will begin this April.
As with the SUV, the 2011 Navara will also come with at least two engine variants including a new 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine with an output of 230 hp and 550 NM of torque and a 2.5 dCi four cylinder engine with an amount of 190 hp and 450 Nm of torque.
As for exterior changes and modifications are concerned, the Navara will now come with a new bonnet, a revised grille and bumper assembly, a new headlamp design with distinctive projector styling and a new set of 16-inch (steel and alloy) and 17-inch (alloy) wheels. The interior modifications include revised door trims, new seat fabric, the addition of chrome highlights, revised dials and, depending on the model, the availability of Nissan Connect Premium with a new high resolution touch screen.
Press release after the jump.

World’s most luxurious trike?

World's most luxurious trike?

“Push it to the limit and beyond.” This should be the motto behind this amazing trike project that we recently came across while surfing the web. It is more like a limo trike built in the hot rod style and powered by a Volkswagen motor, but these are all car words. What makes it appear on the motorcycle page of this website is the Harley-Davidson Fat Boy front end. This last “detail” and the fancy limousine-like interior could easily turn this into the world’s most luxurious trike if an award will ever be given for this.

2010 Abarth Punto Evo

Abarth Punto Evo

The second model in Abarth’s line-up at the Geneva Motor Show is Punto Evo, a model powered by a 165 HP Multiair 1.4 turbo petrol engine with a maximum torque of 250 NM. And if you want more than that Abarth is also offering a "SS" kit that will raise the maximum power to 180 hp.

Pit Boss, the motorcycle concept for wiseguys

Pit Boss, the motorcycle concept for wiseguys

The guys at Custom Eyes Concepts have come up with a rather unique motorcycle concept, but not at all implausible. In fact, the Pit Boss, as it is called, actually looks a bit old and that is mainly due to design inspirations from the cars back in the 1950s. More precisely, show off cars such as the ones you would have seen being driven by the early Vegas "wiseguy" aka casino pit manager aka pit boss. And that’s where the name comes from.
CEC claims that “mixing those themes with modern design concepts results in a true embodiment of the emotion and stature evoked by the real pitboss, in this one-of-a-kind custom motorcycle design.” More pictures after the jump.

Nissan GT-R by Ventros

Nissan GT-R by Ventros

If you could pick one car that seems to be a favorite among car tuners these days, the Nissan GT-R is one that inevitably pops up in a lot of conversations.
The latest tuner to focus their attention on the Japanese sports car popularly known as ’Godzilla’ is Ventros.
After deciding that the standard GT-R isn’t where it needs to be - at least as far as they’re concerned - Ventros decided to give the sports car a new boosting kit that includes, among other things, a Carbon Fiber Honeycomb Matrix (CFHM), a new front-bumper, side skirts and a rear-bumper, which, incidentally are all made out of carbon fiber.
The addition of the newer and bigger rear diffuser allows the GT-R to have more down force, making it more balanced the whole way through. The fascia of the Ventros-tuned GT-R was also given a little modification with the addition of a small splitter that was installed both for aesthetic and performance - the splitter is expected to improve the GT-R’s handling - purposes.

Lightning-powered trike called Yog. Yes, from Yoga!

Lightning-powered trike called Yog. Yes, from Yoga!

Conceptualized obviously by an Indian designer – Arun Thomas –, the Yog trike is somehow related to the physical and mental discipline that Hollywood stars like so much to brag about practicing, Yoga. The shape of this futuristic trike is supposedly derived from Yoga, so is it rightful asking if the riding position induces a certain state? Because nobody certainly doesn’t want to start meditating at 100mph as I understand the thing is meant to go fast too.
This brings us to the other strange thing about the Yog vehicle: power. This comes from artificial thunderstorms created in a closed system that converts lightning into electricity, which feeds the propeller of an aircraft engine. Ok, I certainly don’t want my a** on one of these things very soon and the fact that it even has a skid steer mechanism and elastic hubless wheels won’t make me change my mind. How about you? Would you ride this thing and eventually practice Yoga on it?

TechArt Concept One

TechArt Concept One

The new Porsche Panamera has, without question, received more than its fair share of attention from tuners all over the world since it made its official debut late last year. And while this isn’t TechArt’s first go-round in tuning a Panamera, popular perception seems to think that they’re not getting tired of it anytime soon because they recently announced a new individualization study for the Panamera that will make an appearance at the Geneva Motor Show.
TechArt’s new tuning package is called ’Concept One’ and features a carrara white exterior package that’s fully manufactured from high-quality PU-RIM. The exterior package includes, among other things, a new bonnet with inwrought air outlets, new fenders and side skirts, trim strips and elegant trim frames in the windows, a rear apron with integrated air openings and matching diffuser, a height-adjustable rear spoiler and 22-inch TECHART Formula III forged light alloy wheels.
As for the interior, it comes in a leather finish with a cocoa and white color combination, leather applications on trim parts in cerbero, as well as manually processed decorative stitching in phosphor green. There is also a 3-spoke PDK sports steering wheel with shift paddles, a 10.2-inch ceiling monitor with integrated DVD player, a rear center console and two high-quality folding tables built into the front seats.
Suffice to say, TechArt didn’t seem to leave any stones unturned as far as their new ’Concept One’ tuning package is concerned and if anyone is interested to know more about it, you’ll only need to wait a few more days until the package officially breaks cover in Geneva.
Press release after the jump.
